Phillip K. Thomas
Phillip K. "Felini" Thomas' vast experience with salons and modeling agencies nationwide inspired him to design and create this one-of-a-kind upscale shop, spa, and salon. Felini's eighteen years as a stylist in Dallas has enabled the salon to attract many top professionals from Dallas and across the country.
Although Felini has established himself in Dallas, he has worked nationally as a professional hair and make-up artist. His print work clientele have included Dayton/Hudson, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, I Magnum, and JC Penney. Felini has worked with models and actors including Grace Jones, Halle Berry, Shamar Moore, Brook Burns, and Angie Harmon. In his spare time, Felini has researched and developed a botanical hair care line and a round brush roller (patent pending) which gives more volume to hair than simply round brushing.
Felini is active in the community, contributing his time and talents such worthy causes as the Cattle Baron's Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society, Family Place, Genesis Women's Shelter, and Legacy Aids resource Center.

Maryann Sarris Mihalopoulos
Maryann Sarris Mihalopoulos is the owner and one of the creators of the unique and innovative Phillip K. Thomas Shop, Spa and Salon. Inspired by her own demanding schedule and constant mobility, she decided to design and introduce an upscale, one-stop shop, spa and salon which provides a personal touch to each of its clients, customizing treatments to accommodate the client's demanding schedule. It is a full-service facility staffed with many of the top professionals in the Metroplex.
Reared in Dallas, Maryann is a cum laude graduate of The Hockaday School. She received a BBA from Southern Methodist University and a JD and LLM in taxation from the Southern Methodist University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
Her dedication to civic activities contributes to her busy schedule, which inspired her to create the Phillip K. Thomas Shop, Spa, and Salon. Maryann's civic activities span a number of diverse groups and causes. She is a member of the Crystal Charity Ball Committee and Junior League of Dallas. She currently serves on the boards of directors for Open Arms, Inc./Bryan's House, Parkland Hospital Foundation, Genesis Women's Shelter, and The Hockaday School, where she is president of the Parents' Association. Additionally, she is co-chairing the Mother's Day Luncheon benefiting Genesis Women's Shelter. Maryann is also active in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, having previously served as president of its Board of Trustees.

Bert Burkhalter
Bert worked three years at Toni & Guy, specializing in cutting. He is also trained in Matrix in Logics Color System. He graduated from the Gina Khan Salon for Yosh hair cutting classes. Bert utilizes all education to create personalized cuts, color and blow dry styles.

Maurica Daniels
Maurica has been doing both hair and nails for 19 years. In addition to cuts and color, she specializes in Thermal Retexurizing straighteners for individuals with unruly, fuzzy, wavy or kinky hair. This technique gives you silky, smooth and shiny beautiful hair. She also specializes in acrylic nails with the Tammy Taylor Acrylic line and has trained with Tammy Taylor herself while also being an educator of this line. If you're wanting beautiful pink and white acrylics on either your hands or feet or just the natural look manicure and pedicure, Maurica is your girl!

Wendi Hollenbeck
Wendi moved here from Vail, Colorado. She worked four years at Hair West and Skin Aesthetics in Beaver Creek, Colorado with clients such as President and Mrs. Ford. Wendi loved the resort life, but missed Dallas too much to stay. She recently returned to be a manicurist at Phillip K. Thomas. Wendi loves to write and is also a roller derby princess!

Marie Holloway
Formerly of Paul Neinast Salon and L'Image of Highland Park Village, Marie has been a member of Phillip K. Thomas Salon for three years. She has 25 years experience in the Park Cities area including stage and magazine work. Marie specializes in hair color and cuts.

Martin Lorenz
Martin has been a part of the salon industry in Dallas for over twenty years. He has received advanced training from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, and he has had the privilege of working in several upscale salons in Dallas. He understands that knowledge, along with intuition, is a great tool to serve the client's needs. Martin also worked for two years specializing in hair color only. He is available to meet your hair color and haircutting needs.

Roger Terry
Three years after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Roger followed his dream and enrolled in The Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles. He received his cosmetology degree and went to work with numerous successful hairstylists and colorists from Los Angeles and New York. After spending three years working in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Roger moved back to city life in Dallas. He has spent the last eleven years here sharing his talent and experience with his clients.
Roger believes in continuing with advanced education to stay current with modern trends and techniques. He offers his clients haircutting, coloring, make-up artistry, and is certified in Japanese hair straightening. With years of education and experience behind him, clients can feel confident they will receive a positive experience when they come to see him.

Arthur Scharpf
Getting his start in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Arthur learned at the early age of 19 that it was imperative he listen to his client's wants and needs in the art of good hair design. This simple theory has made him one of the top hair stylists in the Dallas area since 1987. Through the years, Arthur has worked alongside some of Dallas' most influential hair designers in the most prestigious salons. Arthur's code of ethics is simple, "give the client the best look he or she deserves!" He has mastered the technique of shaping hair from coarse and curly, to fine and thin. He also understands the dynamics of working with your hair to complement the contour of your face. Arthur's passion for continuing education has made him one of the top hair stylists in the area.

Bethany Smith
Bethany has been a stylist in Dallas for 10 years and at Phillip K. Thomas for over 4 years. She was featured in D Magazine as Best Colorist in 2002 and 2004. Bethany has worked with many fine color houses including Jacia, Kuene, Wella, Frenesi and L'Oreal. She also has extensive training in over 20 product lines such as Kerastase, Pureology, Kuene and Rene Furterer. Ms. Smith comes from a legacy of hairstylists that began with her great-great grandmother. She is a talented fifth generation artist carrying on a tradition that began in the metroplex over the last 100 years. The Martin family pioneered the beauty salon business in Forth Worth. Her grandfather, Vann Oris Martin, along with his wife Pasty, were among the founding members of the American Airlines Flight Attendant School, shaping the image and style of the American stewardess.

Dane Southard
Originally from Seattle, Dane moved to Dallas to train within the prestigious Toni & Guy Academy. Dane's twelve years of experience include working at Toni & Guy as an Art Director and traveling nationally training salons for TIGI. Dane has worked his way to one of the senior stylist positions here at Phillip K. Thomas. Dane offers a vast array of services in cutting and coloring for both men and women. Dane incorporates the latest trends with his "European Flair" of cutting and coloring techniques. Dane has been trained on numerous color lines from L'Oreal, Socolor and Chi. Midge Trammel
Midge Trammel started her career in the cosmetology field in San Antonio. She moved to Dallas in 1992. Midge's true passion is hair. She attended The Paul Mitchell Hair Academy and started working for an upscale salon in Frisco. This salon led her to Phillip K. Thomas where she now specializes in color and cuts.

Alonzo is nationally known in the hair industry and lives in New York, but travels to Dallas every other week to see his clients. He is a shining star in the industry, and is sought after for work on movie sets and runway shows.
